Our level of support and sense of responsibility is one of the main reasons our clients return to us again and again. We respond quickly, within an hour, to email support questions during office hours.
We provide support for:
- Connection problems to your web site
- Email server problems
- Dial up connections
If you need help with:
- General coding problems unless we are the authors, or;
- Configuration and use of FTP clients, FrontPage, Dreamweaver etc. then we can help you find the information you need
Your enquiry or problem will be dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our support staff are responsive, knowledgeable and very patient and helpful at all times.
Our preferred method of technical support is via our support web site but we appreciate this may not be possible if you are unable to access the web or have problem with your email, in which case please phone us on 0870 4329478 and we will deal with your enquiry as quickly as possible.
Before calling or emailing support, please have the following details available. It always helps us solve your problem quickly if you can give us a detailed description of the problem.
If you have problems accessing your website:
Please provide us the account name and number, domain name, IP address, user name & password you are attempting to use.
Script problems:
If a script has stopped working, please provide the exact URL and any error message you may be getting. If the scripting issue is code related rather than a system problem we may have to refer you back to your web developer.
Tip: When diagnosing script errors and using IE6/7 remember to turn of the 'Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages' then IE will display the more informative server generated error rather than a generic error page.
DSN (Data Source Name) set up:
We no longer support system DSN's. Instead, we encourage clients to adopt DSN-less connection strings, these are more flexible and work just as well as a system DSN.
Email problems:
If you have problems configuring your email, please have your account details available including your full email address and password.
